Description
An unknown female in this undated photograph pulls a file in the Medical Records Department at North Carolina Baptist Hospital. Physicians need to know a patient's medical history in order to treat that patient. The filing system of medical records has changed over the years with the improvements in technology. Today's records are kept on eScription, which is a speech recognition system that assists in transcription of dictated documents.
