dc.descriptionDr. Clark E. Vincent came to Bowman Gray School of Medicine as Professor of Sociology in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1964. In the early 1960s, Dr. Vincent served as chief of the National Institute of Mental Health’s Social Sciences Section and was assistant chief of the institute’s training branch. The program which he initiated at Bowman Gray was designed to provide medical students, interns and resident physicians broader training skills in the area of marriage and family problems.en_US
