This photograph shows Old Salem trustee Tom Gray (at podium) and Mrs. Gordon Hanes presenting Frank L. Horton (1918-2004) with a check to establish the Horton Publications Fund for the Museum of Early Southern Decorative Arts at Old Salem. Mr. Horton was instrumental in the restoration of the Historic Town of Salem and a co-founder, with his mother, Theo L. Taliaferro, of the Museum of Early Southern Decorative Arts at Old Salem.
