Following the Doxology the Wingate College choir performs hymns "Voice of Singing," "Sheep and Lambs May Safely Graze," and "Gloria." A man then discusses the Christian principles that govern Wingate College and the other Baptist colleges in North Carolina, recognizing many of the educators. The Committee on Christian Higher Education reads a report, describing funding, assistance, and Christian student support for seven Baptist colleges under the committee's jurisdiction, including Wake Forest College.Convention officers are nominated and elected.
