Description

Members of the Bowman Gray School of Medicine Admissions Committee take time out of the first Reynolds Scholar Banquet for this picture on March 7, 1958. They are: (back row, left to right) Drs. John R. Ausband, Richard C. Proctor, C. Glenn Sawyer and Robert Tuttle; (front row, L-R) Drs. C. Nash Herndon, J. Maxwell Little, Richard T. Myers, Norman Sulkin, and J. Richard R. Bobb. The Reynolds scholarships were granted on the basis of ability and of need to incoming first year students who intended to practice medicine in the State of North Carolina for a period of five years after finishing their medical training.
