Has the Christian Church Lost its Revolutionary Power to Change the Selfishness in Men? (2 of 2 audiotapes) (Per recording, this is the actual title of talk.)

Abstract

Description

Hymn begins recording. Speaker states the existence of the Christian church is being threatened today as never before in our history. He goes on to mention the advance of global communism. He feels that the majority of church members and non-church goers are disinterested in the Cold War. He ponders if the church is being lulled to sleep. His concerns include: the absence of criticism of the Christian Church by Soviet media and leaders; the Christian church being soft on communism; the idea of co-existence. Are we guided by God or personal ambition? A personal inventory of areas in need of change is warranted. He has noticed a growing division rising within, between, and among NC Baptist churches, between churches and schools, and in areas of Convention programming.
