The large attendance of 4700 at the Wilmington convention meeting is mentioned. The nominations for various committees of the convention, reading their names and their hometown. President Tribble expresses concern over Wake Forest College proposal that was disappointing but is accepted. Discussion about parliamentary procedure ensues and the committee on Place and Preachers proposes for the 1964 convention as Greensboro with John Lawrence and for the 1965 meeting in Charlotte which is adopted. American Bible Society reports gifts of over $150,000 and translation into over 100 languages as well as to chaplains.
