Description
North Carolina Baptist Hospital nurses Mary McBride (left) and Maria Roberts clean equipment and tables in an operating room. After a surgery is performed, the room is “turned over” or thoroughly cleaned. In 1997, the cleaning procedure took about 32 minutes to complete.
