Caption provided reads: "Linn Cove Cyclists. I found three cyclists on the rear porch of the Linn Cove Visitor Center. I was documenting Parkway recreational activities that could be used in promotional materials for the Foundation. The image was shot with film, using a Pentax camera of an unknown model. It was then scanned to produce an image(s) for printing. The printing process involved Piezography, a high-quality printing technique taught by Cone Editions Press. An Epson Model 1280 printed the image with six shades of gray ink. There are three cyclists in the photograph: Craig Bethel (lying on the floor in the background); Tim Hitchcock; Art Bethel (standing)." Caption sourced from metadata embedded by Medford in 2024. Appears in a group of images called �Blue Ridge Parkway Singles."
