Description
Peter Blum Jr. (died 1988) was a master tinsmith who worked at Old Salem from the 1960s through the 1980s. Nicknamed "Mr. Old Salem," he was a prominent part of many Old Salem special events and also played the coronet with Moravian bands. He learned the tinsmith trade from his father, Peter Blum Sr., who worked in Winston-Salem during the first half of the 20th century.
