| dc.description.abstract | Dr. Easley served as a Baptist pastor in North Carolina, Southern Baptist Convention, and Kentucky, 1919-38; as a U.S. Army Chaplain, 1918-19; as Chaplain of Wake Forest College, 1928-38; and as Professor and Chairman of the Department of Relgion at Wake Forest College, 1938-1963.His papers include biographical information; genealogical information on the Easley and Robertson families; correspondence with denominational and educational leaders; financial and legal documents; notes and other literary productions; sermon notes and notebooks, travel journals; Wake Forest College teaching and administrative files, lecture notes; subject files; and family photographs. | en_US |
