- All parts have red pencil underlining and boxing. They also have drafts pasted over two or three measure segments. During processsing the drafts were not able to be removed due to the strength of the adhesive. The drums parts has penciled-in additions to the part. The piano scores have pencil revisions and additions as well as a pencil draft with a note in Max Hoffmann's handwriting "This is the original Lolita complete." The full score is handwritten with markings in red and blue pencil. One the back of page five a handwritten note reads "No. 9 Miranda [?] Lolita." [notes]
