Description

This volume contains the organization of the church, rules of decorum, church meeting minutes (1790-1857) [broken series, not in chronological order] at "Roan meeting house" or "Roan Church" now Rowan Baptist Church, membership rolls of males, females and African Americans (1846, 1849, undated), a list of members of Culbirth's meeting house, now Pleasant Union Baptist Church (undated), and a list of members of Fork's meeting house (undated). 270 pages. Index is also included. It is handwritten in a hardcover notebook, which has loose binding and leaves, and foxing and water stains on yellowed and chipped paper sheets.
