description
A man delivers a sermon regarding fulfilling faith in order to fulfill hope. Baptists around the world and globalization are discussed, as are St. Pascal, good samaritanism, redemption, politics and secularism, and justice in the world. He explains the need to care for the poor and to fight poverty in Baptist communities and missions. Leaders are expected to lead by example, go on missions, donate wealth as good stewards, and spread the Gospel. The evolution of Baptist communities is detailed, all rooted in mercy and compassion.
This project was supported by a Recordings at Risk grant from the Council on Library and Information Resources (CLIR). The grant program is made possible by funding from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.
