Vigorous floor debate on the amendment proposed by Starns results in a vote where the motion to add non-Baptists to the Board of Trustees of Wake Forest College is defeated without a 2/3rds support. Following 13 minutes of choral music, further resolutions regarding the office of the General Secretary and financial loans are approved and churches showing remarkable acheivements are honored.
