Description
A man recognizes Christian educators. Presidents of colleges, including Campbell, Gardner Webb, Meredith, Wake Forest, and Wingate, are mentioned in a discussion of the necessity for higher education. Their leadership of Baptist colleges throughout the turmoils of the 1950s and 1960s is applauded and their accomplishments are recognized. Dr. Tribble, Wake Forest College president, is specifically recognized for his book and influence on Wake Forest.
