- Amanda Cummins is from Westchester, New York, and is a member of the Wake Forest Class of 2021. She is an English major with Italian Language & Culture and Journalism minors and is involved with the Writing Center at Wake. In this interview, Cummins talks about her experience as a student during the COVID-19 outbreak, from her initial reactions and concern for her family to her transition to online classes. She notes that she will have an increased appreciation for college, professors, her home, and group gatherings after the pandemic.
