The recording begins with Wilson stting that in this class, he will mostly be reading a number of Yeats' poems without analysis and what he wants students to note while he is reading and providing a small amount of context. Poems read include: "The Nineteenth Century and After," "Three Movements," "Coole and Ballylee," "For Ann Gregory," "The Mother of God," "Girls' Song," "Young Man's Song," "After Long Silence," "The Four Ages of Man," "An Acre of Grass," "What Then?," ""Beautiful Lofty Things," "The Great Day," "Parnell," and "Long-legged Fly." In the last minute, the audio begins to deteriorate; it cuts out before Wilson finished Long-legged Fly." There are various points of coughs, seat sounds, and other background noises throughout.
